“Most job hunters who fail to find their dream job fail not because they lack information about the job market, but because they lack information about themselves.”
What are you bringing to the table as you approach new employers?
Consider the following.
- What is your behavioral style and your strengths as a result?
- What do you love doing?
- What do you do well?
- What values are most important to you? How does this relate to your career search and transition?
- What is your core purpose? Why are you here, and what are you supposed to do?
Finding your dream job is an intentional process and journey, and it starts by knowing “who” you are. I am not just talking about your skills and experience. If you want to land your dream job, you have to understand yourself way beyond what you have done and what you know.
